As a Senior Electrification Application Lead , you’ll play a critical role in delivering cutting-edge energy transfer solutions that power the next generation of mining operations. This is more than a job — it’s a chance to work directly with customers and dealers , experience the world, and influence the design and support of groundbreaking technologies like Cat® Dynamic Energy Transfer (DET) . You’ll collaborate with engineering, product development, and field teams to influence the designs of our solutions, and develop and execute strategies to deploy them to mining applications. This position is highly visible to external customers and dealers and has a high impact on their perception of Caterpillar as a partner in product development and application. The candidate will be an ambassador for Caterpillar, sharing best practices in a constructive manner. Cat® Dynamic Energy Transfer is a fully Caterpillar-developed system that can transfer energy to both diesel-electric and battery-electric large mining trucks while they are working around a mine site. It can also charge a machine’s batteries while operating with increased speed on grade, improving operational efficiency and machine uptime.
