As our Electrical Technician – you will report to the Operations Manager. On a given day, you may: Prioritize safety in all job functions for both self and team members. Accurately and promptly log work hours and tasks completed. Wire control panels with precision, ensuring neatness and adherence to professional standards. Read and utilize engineering documents, such as schematics and diagrams. Conduct quality checks, resolve problems, and perform re-work as necessary. Assist in training new team members and support other manufacturing areas as needed. Maintain organized project documentation and manage inventory effectively. Work with supervisors to manage panel schedules and inventory requirements. Engage in continuous process improvements and develop innovative solutions for increased efficiency. Conduct electro-mechanical assembly, including work on pneumatic and fluid systems. Ensure assemblies meet UL standards and utilize test equipment effectively. Perform component verification, drilling, tapping, and mounting as required. Conduct final testing with power and perform thorough quality checks. Collaborate with managers and the engineering team to ensure accurate assemblies and consistent documentation. Understand and adhere to electrical codes and safety regulations. Perform other duties as assigned by the manager.

Requirements

  • 2 year electrical degree or electrical certification experience.
  • Minimum 2 year electrical experience building and wiring electrical panels.
  • Ability to lift/carry up to 25 lbs.
  • Knowledge of basic UL standards.
  • Strong organizational and documentation skills.
  • Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical manuals and schematics.
