Parkhill is seeking to hire a Senior Electrical Professional Engineer to join our growing team. This role has the opportunity to support and enhance a wide range of Electrical Engineering projects, associated with commercial building design. Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering.
  • Professional engineer registration (PE) in Texas or OK.
  • Preferred experience as a professional engineer for 10 years or a combination of EIT and PE for 15 years.
  • Proficient in computerized design software’s including, but not limited to, Revit, AutoCAD, Visual Lighting, and SKM.
  • Knowledge of electrical engineering practices, principles and keep up with the ever-changing industry trends.
  • Detailed understanding of project engineering methods with the ability to lead project design start to finish, considering time, cost and resources.
  • An effective communicator with all levels of employees.
  • Possess strategic and effective delegation skills.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with team members to develop proposals, scopes, and fees.
  • Manage the demands of planning and modeling, regulatory compliance, and permitting.
  • Train/mentor staff on the use of Revit, AutoCAD and more.
  • Train/mentor staff on electrical building design requirements.
  • Review project details to proactively manage risk.
  • Evaluate observations and design systems that will withstand the elements on the installation site.
  • Lead design teams in the preparation of plans, specifications, and other related bid/construction documents.
  • Develop relationships with clients, staff, municipal authorities, vendors, and contractors.
  • Other duties as assigned.
