About The Position

What your day looks like Sunrise over the Belvidere site. You review the operations plan, align on permits through Permit Cliqs with production, and verify lockout/tagout is rock solid. A variable frequency drive isn’t behaving—your meter and experience quickly narrow the root cause. Before lunch, you calibrate a flow transmitter, validate temperature loops, and log PMs in line with cGMPs and SOPs. The afternoon is for preventive work—thermography, ultrasonic checks, and tightening up our reliability KPIs—so the lines keep moving and product quality stays impeccable. Your impact Partner with operations to initiate and close out Permit Cliqs (work permits) before any task begins. Champion LOTO —no exceptions. Pinpoint equipment faults, discuss likely causes, and propose pragmatic fixes. Diagnose and repair VFDs, PLCs (Allen-Bradley/Siemens), 480V 3-phase motors , and associated controls including breakers, fuses, overloads, relays, conduit/cable, protective devices, MCC buckets, switches, and metrology devices. Troubleshoot, inspect, adjust, and repair instrumentation for flow, pressure, temperature, and level (e.g., transmitter flow devices, level controls, temperature measurement). Execute preventive maintenance : routine calibration, thermography, and ultrasonic testing. Contribute to other site priorities and duties as assigned by site leadership. Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • 4+ years of maintenance experience in an industrial environment.
  • Flexibility to cover weekends, overtime (including standby/coverage), and holidays as needed.
  • Willing to cross-train and perform within your primary craft.
  • Hands-on expertise with VFDs, PLCs, 480V 3-phase systems, protective devices, MCC buckets, calibration controllers, and metrology.
