About The Position

As Senior Electrical Engineer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the reliability and efficiency of our electrical and automation systems. You will be responsible for overseeing all aspects related to electricity, automation, process control, and manufacturing execution systems (MES), in alignment with our corporate strategies and regulatory standards. Your expertise will contribute to optimizing our operations, enhancing product quality, and maintaining a safe working environment.

Requirements

  • A Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, or equivalent experience, and a minimum of 5 years in a similar role is required.
  • In-depth knowledge of electrical systems, including low, medium, and high voltage installations.
  • Strong understanding of local electrical codes and standards, as well as instrumentation and process control systems.
  • Good knowledge of Instrumentation and Process Control Systems. In-depth knowledge of HMIs, and PLCs.
  • Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and project management skills.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively across teams.
  • Familiarity with food processing operations and technology, as well as knowledge of food safety and regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities

  • Provide optimal electrical and process control equipment in the plant to meet established business objectives.
  • Ensure the reliability of electrical and process control hardware and software operations.
  • Lead and drive Electrical Safety and Electrical compliance per OSHA Standards.
  • Optimize maintenance and operation costs of electrical and process control systems to maintain high levels of efficiency, safety, and quality.
  • Conduct preventive maintenance on power distribution and automation equipment, ensuring power quality and compliance with regulatory standards.
  • Own the plant Electrical Obsolescence Program. Develop projects for future years and execute electrical upgrades, monitor electrical plant performance.
  • Maintain liaisons with other departments and facilities to provide necessary support for capital investment projects and global initiatives.
  • Work closely with the Group Engineering E&A team during the planning and execution of projects to ensure alignment with Nestlé guidelines.
  • Own the calibration program at the plant level. Lead, drive and work with Nestle SME's on whole program development and execution.
  • Prepare and maintain documentation for electrical system specifications, regulatory compliance, and electrical system key documentation.
  • Ensure compliance with safety and environmental regulations, both internal and external.
  • Lead and develop projects in electricity and automation engineering efforts to ensure designs meet process requirements and are cost-effective.
  • Engage in the Factory Acceptance Test (FAT) and validate electricity and automation requirements.
  • Have the ability to Develop and Engineer Electrical Portions and whole project at the plant level. Be the technical leads on projects and ensure that projects are in compliance with NUSA Electrical Standards.
  • Support the plant Digital Strategy and Development and transformation journey.
  • Define and implement technical training for MES systems and support the ongoing expansion of related activities.
