OSI Laser Diode, a division of OSI Optoelectronics is seeking an Electrical Engineer who will be responsible for the development and support of new opto-electronic products. These products will build upon OSIL's laser diode & photodiode design experience. This individual will work closely with the Sales Team's Business Development effort to identify appropriate products, collect specifications, and design to those specifications. They will also design analog and digital circuits, identify component suppliers, and work with the manufacturing team to release products into production. Additionally, they will be responsible for generating and supporting all associated documentation related to design activities

Requirements

Bachelors Degree in Electrical Engineering required.
5+ years of experience in electronic product design required.
Must have thorough knowledge of optoelectronic applications.
Thorough understanding of analog & digital interface techniques required.
Experience with circuit simulation, Python and Labview applications & code.
Must have good verbal and written communication skills.
Understanding of opto-electronic device characteristics needed.

Nice To Haves

Experience in the design of lenses and optics a plus.
