About The Position
Our client is an established consulting engineering firm that is currently seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer to join their growing team within the New York Market!
Requirements
- 8+ years of experience in consulting engineering
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical or Architectural Engineering from an ABET accredited institution
- Experience in MEP Design
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- AutoCAD and REVIT software experience
Nice To Haves
- PE or EIT preferred
Responsibilities
- Design the electrical systems, power distribution, lighting and lighting controls, emergency power, UPS, and renewable energy systems
- Assist meetings with owners, clients, or architects as needed
- Ability to lead projects and teams through the design phase
- Review contractor submittals to determine conformance with contract documents
- Evaluate, select, and apply standard engineering techniques, procedures, and criteria to perform tasks
- Research and analyze customer design proposals specification , manuals, and other data to evaluate the feasibility, cost, and maintenance requirements of designs or applications
- Identify and resolve conflicts as they come up
- Create and maintain customer relationships
