About The Position

Lead electrical design and development for new and existing complex electro mechanical products, from concept to mass production. Architect and implement complex analog and digital circuits for embedded systems or other electrical systems . Develop schematics, guide PCB layout, and oversee board bring-up, testing, and debugging. Perform design reviews, risk assessments, and trade-off analyses to optimize performance and reliability. Collaborate with mechanical and firmware engineers to ensure seamless integration of electrical systems. Author and maintain design documentation including schematics, BOMs, wiring diagrams, and test protocols. Drive compliance with medical device standards (IEC60601-1, IEC61010, ISO13485, FDA 21 CFR 820). Mentor junior engineers and provide technical leadership across projects. Support manufacturing with test fixture design, troubleshooting, and root cause analysis. Engage with suppliers and external partners for component selection and design validation. Expertise in analog and digital circuit design, including power electronics, signal conditioning, and mixed-signal systems. Proficiency in high-speed PCB design, impedance control, and EMI/EMC compliance. Strong knowledge of embedded hardware platforms, microcontrollers, and SoCs. Experience with wireless communication technologies (Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, BLE) and RF design principles. Familiarity with low-power design techniques for battery-operated devices. Hands-on experience with hardware debugging tools: oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, spectrum analyzers. Proficiency in ECAD tools (Cadence, Allegro, Altium) and simulation tools (SPICE, LTspice). Understanding of thermal management and electrical safety standards for medical devices. Experience in Design for Manufacturability (DFM) and Design for Testability (DFT). Ability to develop hardware verification plans, automate tests using scripting languages (Python, MATLAB). Knowledge of firmware-hardware integration, including board support packages and low-level drivers. Familiarity with compliance testing (EMC, safety certifications) and regulatory documentation.
