Your Impact WNA is seeking an experienced and motivated Senior Electrical Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive professional experience in designing electrical building systems, and a demonstrated ability to lead and contribute to projects from the initial design through final construction. The Senior Electrical Engineer will thrive in a collaborative, results-driven environment, contributing directly to the execution of our mission and vision. The Senior Electrical Engineer will report directly to the Electrical Team Manager and Principal in Charge (PIC). This opportunity is available at any of our three offices: Pittsburgh, Philadelphia or Portersville, PA.

Requirements

  • Professional Engineer (PE) Licensure
  • 12+ years designing electrical systems for the various MEP markets (Commercial, Education, Healthcare, etc.)
  • Proficient using AutoCAD and Revit 2022 or newer
  • Expert level knowledge of building, utility, and energy codes
  • Extensive experience on MEP projects from design through final construction
  • Demonstrates a high level of personal integrity, professionalism and self awareness
  • Brings a strong work ethic, collaborate mindset and desire to develop both self and others
  • Possesses excellent facilitation, communication, and analytical skills

Responsibilities

  • Lead in the preparation, development and design of commercial and industrial electrical power systems on a variety of MEP projects using applicable codes and company drafting standards, practices, and procedures
  • Collaborate with and foster the skill development of electrical design and project team members
  • Prepare technical reports, edit specifications, undertake technical investigation studies, and assist with power coordination studies.
  • Participate in the QA/QC process, milestone design review and inter-discipline cross-checking
  • Coordinate time and schedule to work on multiple projects concurrently
  • Schedule and participate in all scheduled team communication, meetings, and trainings
  • Be a contributor to the overall business development of the company
