In this pivotal role, you will provide crucial technical guidance and training to our design team, ensuring the successful implementation of electrical systems across a variety of private, public , and federal projects . You will assist the Project/Client Managers by providing technical guidance to help meet the client’s desires and budget. Your expertise will allow you to collaborate with electrical, architectural, mechanical, and structural disciplines, delivering comprehensive services that meet client expectations on time and within budget. Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering (or related field)
• Professional Engineer (PE) license is required
• 8+ years of technical experience in the design of electrical systems with proven oversight on multiple projects
• Strong technical knowledge of power distribution , lighting , life safety , and telecommunications systems
• Ability to provide quality oversight , technical guidance, and training for design staff
• Accomplished electrical engineer/PE with 8+ years of progressive technical experience in the design of power distribution, lighting, life safety, and telecommunications systems on projects.
• Experience should include technical oversight of multiple projects with proven success providing technical oversight on projects that meet contract specifications and technical standards to the client on time and within budget.
• Self-motivated with highly developed verbal, written and interpersonal skills.
• Well organized, takes good notes.

Responsibilities

• Technical guidance and quality oversight, including code review, of all project work involving electrical engineering.
• Technical training and development of staff.
• Establishing and improving standards, practices, guidelines, and specifications for electrical discipline area.
• Engineer of Record.
• Provide 'on-the-spot' advice and decisions - technical and cost estimates.
• Coordination with all of the disciplines involved, including outside consultants.
• Technical interface with code officials and contractors.
