Job Summary: The Senior Electrical Engineer will work in a multi-disciplined team environment responsible for designing building systems and producing construction documentation for institutional projects in the higher education, government, and commercial markets. We are looking for a highly motivated Senior Electrical Engineer to be part of our strong growth.

Requirements

  • Proficient in Revit and MS Office
  • Experience with complex institutional projects
  • Knowledgeable with codes, standards, and design guidelines
  • Excellent work ethic and attitude
  • Strong Interpersonal communication skills, combined with organizational skills, the ability to plan, balance and prioritize work
  • Ability to lead a team as well as work as part of a team
  • Minimum of 6 years electrical design experience as registered engineer
  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field
  • Professional Engineer license, PE preferred

Nice To Haves

  • LEED experience, certification is desired

Responsibilities

  • Design electrical systems including lighting, and power
  • Develop calculations for lighting systems and associated controls
  • Develop electrical system design calculations
  • Prepare detailed design documents in REVIT
  • Perform QA/QC design work
  • Coordinate with Owners and Architects
  • Coordinate work with other disciplines
  • Complete code compliance research
  • Oversee and provide guidance to junior engineers
  • Assist in the procurement of new work, including the development of client relations
