Responsibilities Your Role: The Senior Electrical Engineer manages capital projects and coordinates with process engineering to improve operations for the Hot Springs manufacturing plant. The position requires an engineer with a passion to meticulously plan cost and timing, manage implementation, startup and spending all while providing thorough communications with the plant to insure buy-in, customer satisfaction and project success. The Senior Engineer will also build a strong relationship with the process engineering teams. Drive and promote our safety culture within the sites including contractors, suppliers, and visitors. Create Capital Acquisition Requests, project scopes of work, project justifications, lead and/or administer capital projects exceeding $1.0MM including defining scope, providing justification, submitting for approval and ensuring project timelines are met and executed flawlessly. Scope, design, engineer, or modify equipment that improves safety, quality, cost, or delivery. Manage engineer project teams including vendors, contractors, junior engineers, maintenance mechanics, maintenance supervisors, maintenance managers, and production area employees to ensure project goals are met. Ensure quality assurance guidelines and procedures are followed. Monitor and control project costs utilizing project management life cycle. Coordinate capital plan by working with plant engineering and operations to establish priorities on current and future capital. Participate in process development- actively promote plant initiatives and ensure group priorities are in support of plant vision. Drive multiple projects to achieve scope, timeline and spending plan while balancing operational and business needs. You will love it here if… You put safety first, always.
