About The Position

Wilson & Company, Inc., Engineers & Architects, is currently seeking a full time licensed Senior Electrical Engineer in our Albuquerque, NM office. The candidate will be an experienced design engineer and the team leader, providing mentoring and technician assistance to a team. Typical projects include: Railroad fueling facilities, maintenance facilities, loading and unloading facilities. Petroleum industry facilities. Vertical building designs, such as schools. Power distribution and wiring. PLC controls. Water, wastewater, and industrial waste facilities. Requirements

  • Minimum of eight (8) years experience on similar projects
  • Bachelors of Science or Masters of Science in Electrical Engineering or related subject
  • Current PE License
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills
  • Experience as a Senior Electrical Engineer or the ability to step up into the position, overseeing multi-disciplinary rail / industrial projects
  • Proven experience in electrical projects from a design perspective including power systems (primary and secondary), substations, LV power distribution, control system design including SCADA systems, and lighting design
  • An understanding of building codes and construction issues
