Requirements

  • 12+ years of experience as an electrical engineer
  • Professional Engineering License (PE)
  • Experience delivering complex power distribution designs for facilities
  • Experience as Engineer of Record (EOR)
  • Strong working knowledge of the NEC
  • Expertise with electrical documentation and drawings
  • Expertise with detailed 480V single line diagrams and 120V panel schedules
  • Experience with conductor and conduit schedules, overhead cable tray schemes
  • Knowledge of lighting design for complex production spaces
  • Experience with integrated facilities design
  • Proficiency with REVIT, SKM, Visual, and other engineering software
  • Willingness to travel for site assessments and meetings
  • Microsoft Office proficiency
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • BS in Electrical Engineering from an ABET accredited institution

Responsibilities

  • Design power distribution, motor control, lighting, and grounding systems
  • Create low (120V-480V) and medium (2.4kV-35kV) voltage system designs
  • Perform power system analysis using SKM or similar software
  • Collaborate with architects, engineers, and contractors
  • Create electrical specifications and drawings
  • Lead projects through all design phases
  • Present to clients both in-person and virtually
  • Review contractor submittals and respond to RFIs
  • Conduct site observations during design and construction
