About The Position

Shrewsberry and Associates is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer for vertical infrastructure projects in the Federal and state & local government markets.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree (or higher) in electrical or architectural engineering from an accredited college or university
• At least 10 years of relevant electrical experience
• PE license in any state with the ability to obtain in other states
• Experience in designing low and medium voltage power, lighting systems and controls, fire alarm and detection systems
• Experience in preparing construction document drawings using Revit
• Experience in designing electrical systems using power design (EasyPower preferred)
• Experience in using lighting calculations software (AGI32 preferred)
• Experience in coordinating the preparation of construction document drawings and specifications
• Experience in providing construction administration services and site visits related to electrical systems
• Experience in mentoring less experienced engineers and designers

Nice To Haves

• Ideal candidate has performed federal DOD or National Guard services work

Responsibilities

• Designing low and medium voltage power systems

• Preparing construction plans and specifications of electrical systems
• Developing probable construction costs
• Providing construction administration and site visits
• Mentoring less experienced staff
• Some travel will be required
