About The Position
This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for a Senior Electrical Engineer - REMOTE. In this role, you will significantly impact the evaluation and optimization of electric power projects. Your expertise will guide clients through technical, commercial, environmental, and financial aspects of their projects. You will be responsible for development support, conceptual design, and providing ownerâs engineer services, helping to enhance project outcomes. This position allows you to work from anywhere in the United States while contributing to vital projects in the electric power industry.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering from an ABET-accredited program.
- 7+ years of experience in the electric power industry, particularly in thermal power projects.
- Strong background in detailed design of medium voltage electrical systems.
- Excellent technical communication and writing skills.
Nice To Haves
- Experience with gas turbines, combined cycle projects, and coal-fired generation preferred.
Responsibilities
- Provide development support and conceptual design for electric power projects.
- Conduct technical evaluations of power generation facilities.
- Support project economic and cost analysis, risk assessments, and contract development.
- Perform engineering design reviews and technical due diligence.
- Travel within the United States and internationally as needed.
