Senior Electrical Engineer- Antenna Test

Our team solves tough, meaningful problems that create a safer, more secure world. We are seeking an experienced Sr. Electrical Engineer specializing in RF/Microwave and Antenna Testing. The candidate must be comfortable working with commercial off-the-shelf and custom test equipment to test hardware. Tasks will include specification development, trade studies, hardware integration, and test and validation. This opportunity is for a versatile Antenna Test engineer possessing a blend of theoretical analysis, practical application, and hands-on integration abilities. Ability to troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and RF related issues sometimes down to the Antenna component levels. Other responsibilities will include supporting anechoic chamber upgrades and integration of test equipment. Ability to independently solve problems as well as work with the subsystem team. Travel is required.
Requirements
- Typically requires a Bachelor’s Degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM)
- 5 + years minimum experience in RF/Microwave and Antenna (AESA) Test and Integration
- Experience with Test Development in a Nearfield or Farfield Range
- Experience troubleshooting RF/Microwave Antenna (AESA) hardware, software and process issues down to the component levels
- Experience with system issues associated with RF design such as noise figure, IP3, S-Parameters, Antenna Gain, Antenna Directivity, ERP, Side Lobe Levels (SLL), Oscillation, etc.
- Experience with common RF test equipment such as Network Analyzer, Spectrum Analyzers, Signal & Pulse Generators, and Oscilloscopes
- Experienced at Antenna (AESA) hardware integration and validation efforts necessary for sell-off of advanced Airborne RADAR systems
- Active and transferable US Government issued security clearance prior to the start date.
- U.S. citizenship is required as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.

- Experience in Root-Cause Corrective Action Investigations
- Experience working in a DoD environment.
- Experience using MATLAB
- Knowledge in Antenna Calibration Techniques
- A working understanding of architecture, design, and integration processes for Airborne Radar Test Development
- Experience in both Near and Far Field Ranges
