About The Position

The Computing Solutions Department is looking for a Sr. Electrical Engineer for development of the next generation product line solutions in Cedar Rapids, IA. The Computing Solutions organization is focused on the development of solutions that can be applied across a wide variety of Avionics products in safety critical commercial and military applications. Our team is responsible for the development, certification and sustainment of these solutions. We are seeking motivated candidates with a proven history in the architecture, design, implementation, verification, and integration of a wide variety of high-performance digital systems that incorporate ASICs into a product solution. Having design and development experience with PCI Express and other high speed I/O is highly preferred. This an excellent opportunity to work with a highly experienced team of architects and senior engineers and a professional network across the Avionics business unit.

Requirements

• Proven history in the architecture, design, implementation, verification, and integration of high-performance digital systems.
• Experience with PCI Express and other high speed I/O.
• Experience in ASIC digital design and/or verification.
• Proficiency in RTL coding and simulation in VHDL, Verilog, or SystemVerilog.
• Experience in ASIC/FPGA verification using inspection, analysis, simulation, and test methods.

Responsibilities

• Develop products in accordance with DO-254 DAL A certification and participate in certification activities.
• Requirements capture, decomposition, and traceability.
• ASIC digital design and/or verification.
• RTL coding and simulation in VHDL, Verilog, or SystemVerilog.
• ASIC/FPGA verification using inspection, analysis, simulation, and test methods.
• Work with a wide variety of individuals including Engineering, Program Management, internal leadership and customers.
• Willingness to travel (domestically and globally).
