About The Position
Westwin Elements is seeking a highly experienced Senior Electrical Designer to support the design, development, and execution of electrical systems for large-scale industrial and process facilities.
Requirements
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
- 8+ years of industrial electrical design experience.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD or AutoCAD Electrical.
- Strong understanding of power distribution systems.
Nice To Haves
- EPC or large capital project experience.
- Hazardous area classification knowledge.
- Experience in heavy industrial or processing environments.
- 3D Modeling Experience
Responsibilities
- Develop and review detailed electrical design documents including single-line diagrams, layouts, and cable schedules.
- Design electrical systems for industrial facilities.
- Coordinate with multidisciplinary engineering teams.
- Ensure compliance with NEC, IEEE, NFPA, and applicable codes.
- Support procurement and review vendor submittals.
- Mentor junior designers.
- Support construction and commissioning activities.
