About the position

ASML US brings together the most creative minds in science and technology to develop lithography machines that are key to producing faster, cheaper, more energy-efficient microchips. We design, develop, integrate, market and service these advanced machines, which enable our customers - the world's leading chipmakers - to reduce the size and increase the functionality of their microchips, which in turn leads to smaller, more powerful consumer electronics. We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Safety Professional to oversee and ensure the implementation of comprehensive safety programs across our construction and electrical operations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in construction and electrical safety, and extensive knowledge of OSHA, NFPA, state, and federal regulatory standards.

Responsibilities

  • Develop, implement, and enforce safety policies and procedures in compliance with OSHA, NFPA 70E, and other applicable state and federal regulations.
  • Investigate and report on incidents, near misses, and safety violations; recommend corrective actions.
  • Liaise with project managers, site supervisors, and subcontractors to promote a culture of safety.
  • Maintain up-to-date safety documentation and prepare reports for internal and external audits.
  • Assist in preparing Job Safety Analyses (JSAs), Permit to Work (PTW) systems, and safety documentation for project approvals.
  • Stay current with updates to safety laws, regulations, and best practices.
  • Collaborate with local management to prepare and maintain site-level emergency response plans.
  • Communicate with safety-related and environmental agencies before, during, and after emergencies.
  • Manage hazardous waste including scheduling, training, and compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
  • Conduct safety audits and inspections on a daily, weekly, and quarterly basis.
  • Deliver safety training on various topics including working at heights, lockout/tagout, and new EHS initiatives.
  • Manage personal protective equipment (PPE) assessment and implementation.
  • Ensure compliance with ISO 14001 and other relevant standards.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health & Safety, Engineering, or related field (preferred).
  • 5+ years of experience in construction and electrical safety roles.
  • In-depth knowledge of OSHA, NFPA, and other local/state/federal regulations.
  • Certifications such as CSP, CHST, OSHA 30/OSHA 510, NFPA 70E, or First Aid/CPR are highly desirable.
