About The Position

The Senior Environmental Health & Safety (EHS) Manager at Skanska is responsible for integrating EHS services into business practices and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements on assigned projects. This role involves overseeing EHS responsibilities, managing multiple EHS Managers, and interacting with various stakeholders including project managers and regional EHS directors. The position is project-based and focuses on larger, more complex projects that contribute to societal and environmental betterment.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of experience identifying safety hazards and recommending controls.
  • 8+ years of experience in a safety role in a construction environment.
  • OSHA 30 certification.
  • 1+ years of experience managing direct reports.
  • Strong written communication skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
  • Bachelor's degree in construction management, safety management, engineering, or equivalent, or 8 years of safety experience and 10+ years relevant experience.

  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements on assigned projects.
  • Oversee EHS responsibilities for assigned projects.
  • Manage multiple EHS Managers reporting to the Senior EHS Manager.
