  • Expertise in instrumentation, automated test systems, and data acquisition.
  • Strong debugging, integration, and troubleshooting skills in a hardware-in-the-loop environment.
  • Proficiency with Git, issue tracking systems, and structured software development processes.

Nice To Haves

  • 14+ years of professional LabVIEW experience, with Certified LabVIEW Developer (CLD) or higher.
  • Professional experience with NI TestStand and large-scale test automation in aerospace or defense.
  • Familiarity with EGSE for space or other high-reliability systems.
  • Fluency in additional programming languages such as Python, C++, or similar for automation, tooling, and integration.
  • Proficiency with CI/CD tools, containers, or virtual machines.
  • Knowledge of NASA or MIL-STD environmental test protocols.
  • Active TS/SCI clearance or ability to obtain one.

Responsibilities

  • Architect and Lead the development of LabVIEW-based EGSE and HIL applications from concept through deployment, ensuring scalability, maintainability, and performance.
  • Define technical direction for EGSE software across multiple programs, creating standards, frameworks, and reusable components for team-wide adoption.
  • Own full software lifecycle: requirements, architecture, implementation, integration, verification, deployment, and sustainment.
  • Lead integration of NI hardware (PXI, cRIO, DAQ, instrumentation).
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to establish system-level test strategies and software requirements for embedded system validation.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex integration issues in production and environmental test environments.
  • Drive DevOps adoption with GitLab CI/CD, automated testing, and deployment processes.
  • Mentor and develop junior engineers, providing technical reviews, coaching, and career growth support.
  • Serve as the technical point of contact for program stakeholders, customers, and leadership on EGSE software matters.
  • Delegate and oversee large sections of work, forming and leading sub-teams as needed to deliver on aggressive schedules.
