About The Position

This senior engineering position at Blue Origin focuses on the development and operations of the New Glenn heavy-lift launch vehicle. The role is critical in establishing requirements and implementing mission-critical ground power and control systems for launch vehicles, contributing to the company's vision of enabling millions of people to live and work in space. Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering.
  • 15+ years of experience in ground up design and operations of launch vehicle power and control systems.
  • Experience with launch vehicle electrical umbilicals and disconnect systems.
  • Knowledge of data recording systems and simulator designs for ground and launch vehicle systems.
  • Experience with control systems for launch vehicle ready signals, including pyro devices.
  • Familiarity with AFSPCMAN-9710 and USAF certification processes for EGSE systems.
