As a Senior Educator at Goodstart, you'll take charge of your own room, leading a team of dedicated Educators to deliver exceptional educational programs. You'll collaborate with the Centre Leadership Team and the Educational Leader to observe, inform, and continuously improve our teaching practices. Your commitment to safety and inclusivity ensures that every learning experience is tailored to meet the needs of all children. About Goodstart Salisbury North: The centre caters for 90 children aged from six weeks to kindergarten aged. With a careful balance between play-based learning and routine, and a strong focus on the development of children’s social and emotional skills, they give children a foundation for future learning. All staff are highly qualified and have vast experience. Floating position, working across all rooms to support high-quality educational programs and best practices. The centre has a strong sense of community and supporting the wellbeing of their families is their core purpose as a not-for-profit social enterprise. They have a partnership with Foodbank SA to provide families with additional grocery items. Some of these services include Child and Family Health Services, dental services, local playgroups and children’s centres as well as Anglicare. The centre is committed to creating a warm and welcoming community focused centre. They look forward to building and maintaining meaningful and true relationships with all our families and children. Requirements
- Diploma in Early Childhood (or ACECQA approved equivalent)
- Strong knowledge of the Early Years Learning Framework and National Quality Standards
- Current South Australia Working with Children Check
