As a Senior Educator at Goodstart, you'll take charge of your own room, leading a team of dedicated Educators to deliver exceptional educational programs. You'll collaborate with the Centre Leadership Team and the Educational Leader to observe, inform, and continuously improve our teaching practices. About Goodstart Maryborough: We are a 107 place, dual-centre facility catering to children from 6 weeks to 5 years old. We pride ourselves on creating a home away from home environment where everyone feels warm, comfortable, and supported. Our commitment to inclusive and diverse practices is at the core of everything we do. Our spacious, open play areas allow mixed age groups to interact, fostering relationships, sharing, and caring for one another. Siblings have the opportunity to mingle and play together each morning and afternoon during family grouping times, which helps each child develop a sense of being, belonging and becoming. Our facility is located in Maryborough, a charming coastal town with a relaxed country atmosphere. Maryborough is rich in history, with many stories to tell and is known as the home of Mary Poppins. This heritage is celebrated annually in the streets with the Mary Poppins Festival every July.
Requirements
- Diploma in Early Childhood (or ACECQA approved equivalent)
- Strong knowledge of the Early Years Learning Framework and National Quality Standards
- Current Queensland Working with Children Check (Blue Card)
