About The Position

This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for a Senior EDI/Data Specialist - REMOTE. In this role, you will play a crucial part in the National Employee Benefits Technology (EBTech) Department, contributing to the implementation of software tools essential for health care reform compliance and automated benefits enrollment. Your efforts will drive the efficiency of services delivered to customers, ensuring high standards of data accuracy and timely completion of tasks. The role requires a detail-oriented mindset and the ability to meet strict deadlines while fostering relationships with stakeholders. Your contributions will directly impact the customer experience and enhance our operational efficiency.

Requirements

  • 3-6 years of experience in an office environment, preferably in insurance or HR.
  • Experience with employee data file manipulation and EDI development.
  • Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
  • 3-6 years of software implementation experience.
  • Ability to learn and apply new concepts quickly.
  • Proficient with MS Office Suite.
  • Experience with database applications.
  • Attention to detail and adherence to deadlines.
  • Strong professional demeanor and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality.

Responsibilities

  • Audit and upload data for customer website implementations.
  • Create and configure EDI files for customer websites following best practices.
  • Conduct final testing and auditing of EDI configurations.
  • Guide development of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
  • Build and maintain professional relationships with customers and partners.
  • Provide daily support to customers and assist teammates.
  • Maintain a working knowledge of health and benefits products.
  • Promote teamwork and a positive environment in the department.
  • Ensure accountability for quality assurance in EDI/Data tasks.
  • Respond to customer support queries with limited oversight.
  • Serve as a subject matter resource in customer meetings.
  • Follow department guidelines and engage in professional development.
  • Train and mentor junior team members and specialists.
  • Stay current on industry trends and technologies.
