About The Position

The Senior Economist at Amazon Private Brand Intelligence will play a crucial role in developing data-driven solutions using Machine Learning, Statistics, and Econometrics to optimize product inputs and drive strategic business decisions. This position involves working within an interdisciplinary team to invent and implement novel solutions that have a direct impact on business and customer satisfaction.

Requirements

• PhD in economics or equivalent.
• Experience in causal inference modeling.

Nice To Haves

• Experience in building statistical models using R, Python, STATA, or related software.
• Experience in developing and executing an analytic vision to solve business-relevant problems.
• Experience in econometrics, including program evaluation, forecasting, time series, panel data, or high dimensional problems.
• Experience in economic theory and quantitative methods.
