About The Position

About this role: Wells Fargo is seeking a Senior Due Diligence Consultant In this role, you will: Participate in conducting due diligence programs on moderately complex initiatives and deliverables within functional area and contribute to large scale planning related to functional area deliverables Provide subject matter expertise on due diligence documentation requirements and data sources Support business in execution of due diligence reporting processes and controls, interpret policies, guidelines and governance programs Review and analyze client onboarding processes and challenges that require research, investigation, evaluation, and selection of alternatives Provide subject matter expertise on documentation and data sources and exercise independent judgment to guide moderate to high risk deliverables Compile and evaluate report results and escalate when necessary Resolve moderately complex issues and lead team to meet functional area process deliverables Leverage solid understanding of the function, policies, procedures and compliance requirements Collaborate and consult with peers, colleagues, managers and internal and external customers to resolve issues and achieve goals

Requirements

  • 5+ years of Due Diligence experience, or equivalent (including risk management, client service, operations support, or business process management) demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
  • Must be able to attend full duration of required training period
  • Ability to work additional hours as needed
  • Must work on-site at the location posted
  • Ability to travel up to 10% of the time

Nice To Haves

  • BSA/AML knowledge and experience
  • Money Service Business (MSB) experience
  • Working knowledge of KYC Know Your Customer, EDD Enhanced Due Diligence
  • Superior time management skills and ability
  • Experience with the following systems: Cornerstone, Service Vision Portal (SVP), Wholesale Customer Information System (WCIS), and Streamlined Elastic Workflow Assistant (SEWA)
  • Experience supporting or working within Wells Fargo Community Banking (CB), Consumer & Small Business Banking (CSBB), and Corporate Investment Banking (CIB) lines of business
  • Operates independently with minimal supervision
  • Manages work requests proactively and effectively to meet performance expectations
  • Experience being a primary point of contact for peers, partners, and management support
  • Experience with the quality review process
  • Experience developing partnerships and collaborating with other business and functional areas
  • Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail and accuracy
  • Experience navigating through ambiguity and maintaining momentum while driving for results and clarity in uncertain situations
  • Intermediate MS Office skills and experience including Word and Excel
  • Ability to prioritize work, meet deadlines, achieve goals, and work under pressure in a dynamic and complex environment
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment
