As a Senior DSP Communications Engineer, you will be responsible for the design, development, and testing of radio frequency (RF), wireless circuits, or communications systems. You will demonstrate an understanding of Digital Signal Processing algorithms and Communications theory. You will have the ability to troubleshoot and solve complex communications problems. The role requires excellent communication skills and ability to effectively collaborate with multidisciplinary groups, including software, hardware, and material engineering.

  • Design and implement DSP algorithms.
  • Knowledge of wireless communication theory and systems.
  • Experience with Software Defined Radios (SDR).
  • Manage complex engineering projects in a fast-paced environment.
  • Develop and maintain effective internal/external relationships.
  • Use standard laboratory instrumentation for validation and troubleshooting.
  • Drive solutions to complex problems with limited direction – contribute to requirements development, propose ways forward, and adapt appropriately to changes in requirements.
  • Contribute to customer presentations.
  • Provide insight and suggest design modifications based on analysis outcomes, and apply analysis techniques across a range of technical disciplines.
  • Identify program/system-level technical risks and develop and execute mitigation strategies.
  • Expertise in using DSP software and hardware tools.
  • Actively mentor less experienced engineers and provide thoughtful, constructive feedback.
  • Ability to lead a team of engineers.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.
  • Requires bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or related field.
  • 5-7 years' experience in Radio Frequency or Communications Engineering or related.
  • Master's degree preferred.
