About The Position

The Sr. DSD Route Planner is responsible for Distribution and Sales planning long term. They will provide guidance, strategic vision and support through deep analysis and understanding of field operations. Will leverage standard process, time with people, and utilizing technologies to enable effective and efficient execution in the field through the planning process. Job Details: Job Level: 6

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree and a minimum of one year work experience required or 4+ years progressive job experience including people, project, or account management with leadership and influencing skills required
• Experience in area of Supply Chain Operations preferred
• APICS, Lean Six Sigma and Project Management experience. Green Belt preferred
• Working knowledge of SAP, LEO, VendSmart, Samsara, Forms.com, and Microsoft Suite
• Strong analytical skills in the areas of SAP, Excel
• Must have strong written and verbal communication/ presentation skills with timely follow-up

Responsibilities

• Analyze data and align goals to achieve the company's objectives
• Communicates and influences internal stakeholders on optimal decision-making
• Work directly with sales leadership and logistics leadership ensuring we are meeting their needs and fulfilling company objectives
• Collaborates cross functionally to develop a strategic planning approach to drive efficiencies, process improvements, and cost reductions using program/project management methodologies
• Provides leadership to ensure effective cross-functional approach to frontline initiatives
• Provide performance information, metrics, and review KPI's performance and make recommendations for long term planning for sales and distribution
• Develop and manage Key Performance Indicator (KPI) reporting across the logistics organization
• Detect opportunities and provide consulting and analysis with all levels of leadership
• Performs other duties as assigned
