Requirements

Two (2) to five (5) years of experience in relevant field
Strong understanding of ISP/OSP fundamentals
Proficiency in cable testing and troubleshooting
Expertise in fiber splicing techniques
Experience with infrastructure design and implementation
Skilled in technical documentation and reporting
Must have an active Secret clearance
BICSI Technician or equivalent

Nice To Haves

Experience with DoD infrastructure systems
Proficiency in project coordination and management
Skilled in AutoCAD for design and drafting

Responsibilities

Experience implementing ISP/OSP distribution systems, including fiber and copper infrastructure installation, testing, and maintenance.
Survey ISP/OSP infrastructure to assess current systems and plan for improvements.
Design cable plant solutions to ensure efficient and effective network connectivity.
Inspect installation quality to ensure all systems meet industry standards and requirements.
Document infrastructure to maintain accurate records of installations and updates.
Test connectivity to verify the proper functionality of the network systems.
Maintain existing systems, ensuring continued performance and reliability.
Support migrations by ensuring smooth transitions and minimal service interruptions.
Create materials lists to ensure the proper resources are available for installations and upgrades.
