Lochner – learn more about us Your impact: Demonstrate technical ability in analysis and design of common water resources site design tasks such as design of storm water management BMPs, storm drainage systems, open channels, closed conduit hydraulics, grading, utilities, and show experience with NPDES Permit and local ordinances compliance both in documentation and design of water quality BMPs. Prepare hydrological and hydraulic calculations and models. Prepare quantity takeoffs and cost estimates. Prepare plans, specifications, drainage reports, and exhibits. Coordinate and oversee efforts of more junior staff Provide quality control checks on work performed under your direction. Work closely in the office as part of a multi-discipline team. Develop project scope of work documents and project plans that include an analysis of benefit, cost, work schedule, and any related risks. Monitor and communicate project related issues, scope changes, variances and contingencies that may arise during the development of projects. Meet with and effectively communicate with project teams Make trips to project sites as necessary to evaluate progress and status. Be familiar MassDOT, and local agency design criteria and standards. Oversee project design budgets and invoicing
