About The Position

Become a Senior Distribution Technical Studies Engineer- Microgrids & EMT Modeling in the Distribution Technical Studies team at Southern California Edison (SCE) and help shape the future of grid reliability and clean energy. In this role, you'll serve as a technical lead, guiding engineers in advanced technical studies for front-of-meter microgrids, including those developed under the Microgrid Incentive Program (MIP) and the Multi Property Microgrid tariff. You'll tackle complex interconnection projects in electrically weak systems, such as Catalina Island, where innovative solutions and electromagnetic transient (EMT) analysis are critical to success. You'll also support other technical studies as needed to address emerging challenges. Your expertise will inform SCE's strategy, regulatory direction, and technology adoption, helping to power our planet, reduce carbon emissions, and create cleaner air for everyone. Are you ready to take on the challenge to help us build the future?
