About The Position
Maritime Delivery Services (MDS) is an intermodal trucking company with 6 offices in the US and 1 in Canada. MDS has been in business since 2007 providing safe, reliable service with dedicated staff and business-oriented independent contractors.
Requirements
- Previous dispatch or customer service experience in trucking
- Ability to work flexible schedule as needed
- 4+ years of industry related experience
Nice To Haves
- Intermodal trucking experience
- Good communication skills
- Able to multitask in time sensitive situations
- Advocate for MDS with drivers and customers
Responsibilities
- Ensure drivers are assigned loads daily to maximize their productivity.
- Assist drivers with daily issues as they occur, after hours as well.
- Assist customer service with timely capacity changes and reschedule appointments as needed.
- Manage drivers with service issues, ELD issues, safety concerns.
- Assist terminal manager as needed.
