About The Position

The Senior Director, Global Visual Merchandising & Store Design owns and evolves the global visual merchandising and store design frameworks for Fresh across all physical channels of distribution. This role defines brand standards, design systems, and governance models that ensure consistency, scalability, and relevance globally, while enabling strong regional and local execution

Requirements

  • 12-15+ Years of Experience in a related field
  • Project Management Skills - Ability to lead multiple projects from initiation, through concept into execution

Responsibilities

  • Store and Fixture Design:Define and evolve global store design concepts, fixture systems, and visual standards across boutiques, shop-in-shops, and open-sell environments
  • Partner with external architects and design consultants to develop scalable retail concepts aligned with brand strategy
  • Provide clear design frameworks, guidelines, and brand codes to regional and local teams
  • Establish approval criteria and governance processes for floorplans and shop designs, ensuring brand consistency while enabling efficient regional execution
  • Campaign Launches:Define global visual merchandising strategies and launch frameworks in partnership with the Creative team responsible for campaign concepts
  • Translate campaign concepts into scalable global VM principles, directives, and playbooks for regional and local markets
  • Oversee the development of global VM guidelines and reference materials to support consistent and effective campaign implementation
  • Ensure alignment between visual merchandising frameworks, brand storytelling, and commercial objectives
  • Interior Merchandising & Brand Expression:Own global interior merchandising principles, including planogram logic, brand code evolution, and in-store storytelling
  • Ensure consistency of brand expression while allowing for appropriate regional adaptation
  • Guide the development of launch collateral and in-store graphics standards
  • Theatre, Hospitality & Special Activations:Define global approaches and principles for theatre, hospitality, and experiential moments
  • Establish global frameworks for pop-ups, special activations, and events across markets
  • Ensure high-visibility initiatives align with brand values, aesthetics, and commercial objectives through clear guidance and governance
  • Sephora & External Retail:Define global brand expression principles for the Sephora environment and other external retail partners
  • Partner with internal and external stakeholders to evolve visual presence within retailer constraints
  • Tools, Units & Production:Define global standards for top-of-counter units and merchandising tools
  • Partner with LVMH Beauty Merchandising and Purchasing teams on development and production frameworks
  • Regional & Local Market Launches:Lead and coordinate VMSD workstreams for local and regional market launches, including shop design, development, and buildout, in partnership with regional teams
  • Set up and vet local and regional vendors in architecture, millwork, construction, project management, and print.
  • Ensure regional launches are delivered in alignment with global brand standards and visual merchandising frameworks
