About The Position

The Senior Director, Supply Chain Digital Strategy will be a key business leader responsible for shaping and delivering the digital transformation vision for Alnylam’s supply chain. This role will own the digital supply chain product vision and roadmap, ensuring that investments in data, systems, and processes deliver measurable business value across Clinical and Commercial Supply, Global Planning, and Logistics.
Anchored in supply chain but collaborating across Technical Operations & Quality (TOQ) — including CMC, Manufacturing, Quality, and Facilities — this leader will align digital priorities across functions, enable seamless data integration, and standardize core business processes. Acting as the business counterpart to IT, they will define enterprise process and data standards, prioritize initiatives, and drive adoption strategies that ensure technology solutions are scalable, connected, and future-ready.
This is a hybrid position based primarily at Alnylam’s Cambridge, MA office. The individual in this role will be expected to work on-site at least two days per week. At this time, we are not considering remote candidates.

Requirements

• 15+ years in supply chain, operations, or digital transformation in life sciences.
• Proven track record leading enterprise digital strategy and product vision execution.
• Deep expertise in systems integration, data governance, and business process architecture.
• Experience implementing major platforms across ERP, APS, MES, LIMS, WMS domains.
• Strong cross-functional leadership and change management skills.
• Strategic thinker with a systems mindset and ability to connect data, process, and platform design.
• Collaborative leader who can influence across business, IT, and external partners.
• Strong understanding of supply chain operating models, KPIs, and external collaboration frameworks.
• Experience with data governance frameworks and enterprise-level change management.
