The Chief Operating Officer (COO) for Hybrid and On-prem Infrastructure is a critical strategic leadership and business management position within Google Cloud. This role is uniquely responsible for defining the execution strategy, ensuring overall business success, and driving operational excellence across the entire portfolio of on-premise and hybrid infrastructure solutions. The core of this role involves comprehensive end-to-end profit and loss ownership and driving Go-to-Market (GTM) success. You will collaborate closely with product management and engineering to develop a multi-year strategic outlook, focusing on efforts to migrate, modernize, and manage customer workloads. The scope extends to defining the entire customer and operational lifecycle, including the developer experience, control plane APIs, support services, and maintenance. A key function is maintaining operational and support excellence to guarantee reliable, high-performance services and the timely launch of new products. You will be a vital customer advocate, translating user needs into the product roadmap and ensuring that solutions empower users. You will create and manage strategic partnerships with external vendors (e.g., hardware and data center partners) and building a high-performing team of engineers and technical leaders capable of executing a multi-year roadmap and fostering a culture of career growth and continuous learning.
