The Senior Director, Strategy & Execution will use strong leadership and problem-solving skills to implement/drive the strategic planning and advancement of operational capabilities for the RTP site. This pivotal role is responsible for developing a comprehensive operating system. In this capacity, you will guide both a team of 3-5 direct reports as well as 10+ indirect reports involved in continuous improvement, project management, and communications, inspiring a collaborative and high-performance culture. The Senior Director, Strategy & Execution plays a key role in ensuring site objectives are aligned to deliver the broader Company ambition. You will need to be based onsite daily. Reporting directly to the RTP Site Head, the Senior Director, Strategy & Execution is a cornerstone in fostering collaboration and communication around strategic focus areas such as delivery, change management, and growth.   • Lead the creation and refinement of the RTP site's strategic plan, ensuring alignment with FLB's broader goals.
  • Collaborate with the communication lead to develop a strategic plan that engages the entire organization.
  • Lead the team responsible for internal site communications and external engagement to drive brand recognition.
  • Establish and continuously enhance the site operating model, ensuring effective governance and performance management.
  • Work closely with site leadership to set strategic priorities, goals, and initiatives.
  • Implement Continuous Improvement methodologies to foster a culture of continuous learning and innovation.
  • Lead and develop your team by providing mentorship and creating an environment that encourages growth.
  • Facilitate Site Leadership Team meetings and promote collaboration across departments.
  • Represent the site in corporate initiatives, ensuring local strategies align with global objectives.
  • Initiate site transformation efforts, prioritizing the implementation of new capabilities.
  • Develop and implement a unified approach to project management, ensuring alignment with site master plans.
  • Lead special projects as assigned, contributing to the overall strategic goals of the organization.
  • Bachelor's degree with 15+ years of relevant experience or; Master's degree with 12+ years of relevant experience or; PhD with 10+ years of relevant experience.
  • 8+ years of experience in a GMP regulated environment, Continuous Improvement, Project Management and Special Projects.
  • 12+ years of team management experience.
  • 8 or more years of technical and regulatory experience within a biotech or pharmaceutical background.
  • Proven track record in leading and nurturing teams, effectively managing both direct and matrixed relationships.
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Advanced proficiency in MS Office, Tableau, and other data visualization tools.
  • Expertise in transformation, Agile implementation, Change Management, and Lean Six Sigma.
  • Advanced knowledge of document management and lifecycle.
  • Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and written and oral communication skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
