Position Summary... The Senior Director, US Identity & Work Authorization Compliance leads mitigating risk and enabling regulatory compliance for immigration and US identity and work authorization for Walmart U.S. and Sam’s Club for both associates and gig-workers. This leader will support the risk-based identification of areas of concern, development and execution of mitigation plans, and ongoing monitoring and improvement of compliance programs for these areas and subject matter areas that may be identified in the future. The person in this role also liaises with subject matter experts in other geographies to share best practices and seek out common areas of focus and synergies. Reporting into the SVP of Walmart US Compliance, this person will partner with the People Organization, Legal, Operational Compliance, Operations, Compliance Training, Corporate Affairs, Global Investigations, and Technology to programmatically mitigate risks and enable the business. The Senior Director will develop and implement strategies to ensure adherence to company standards of integrity and ethics while developing and leveraging internal and external partnerships and networks to maximize the achievement of business goals. What you'll do... Work with our Compliance, Legal, People Organization, Operations and other stakeholders to develop and implement risk mitigation strategies and maintain business continuity to enable business strategy. Cross-functionally collaborates amongst stakeholders to support shared goals and solutioning. Develop, standardize, and optimize processes to create operational efficiencies across all Labor and Employment areas. Work with our technology partners to build scalable products and tools to support automation of Work Authorization Compliance. Develop and implement an overarching compliance program for Work Authorization. Develop, mentor, and provide opportunities for the Work Authorization Compliance team. What you’ll bring...
