About The Position

Johnson & Johnson is seeking a Senior Director, Social Impact Systems, to lead the governance and strategic planning processes of the J&J Foundation. This role is based in New Brunswick, NJ, on a hybrid schedule. The position is pivotal in delivering transparent reporting across all charitable giving and ensuring effective planning and operations of charitable systems while adhering to regulatory requirements. The Senior Director will collaborate with leadership to provide business advice related to Global Health Equity and J&J's philanthropic efforts, ensuring excellence in execution, accountability, governance, and quality.

Requirements

• Experience in finance, particularly in not-for-profit or charitable foundation management.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to educate and influence at all levels of the organization.
• Proven ability to develop and implement effective systems and workflows for charitable giving.
• Experience in data capture, impact analytics, and reporting.
• Knowledge of regulatory compliance related to charitable foundations and giving.

Nice To Haves

• Experience in global health equity initiatives.
• Familiarity with healthcare compliance, finance, tax, and legal aspects of charitable giving.
• Previous experience in strategic planning and governance for charitable organizations.

Responsibilities

• Develop and deploy effective systems and workflow to support J&J's network of charitable giving, including GHE and J&J Foundation.
• Provide leadership and education to increase knowledge on J&J's social impact ecosystem.
• Lead and improve data capture, impact analytics, and reporting across multiple charitable and enterprise platforms.
• Build effective internal partnerships with Health Care Compliance, finance, tax, and legal to ensure efficiency and regulatory compliance across all of J&J's Giving.
• Ensure adherence to all related external regulatory requirements.
• Lead the team in developing innovative collaborations that facilitate J&J's Social Impact.
• Oversee the J&J charitable foundation, ensuring adherence to external requirements including legal entity reporting and tax reporting.
• Manage cash flow and the effective movement of funds to approved beneficiaries for Grants, Impact Investments, and Matching Gifts.
• Lead the strategic and business planning processes for J&J Foundation and play a strong leadership role in GHE strategic business planning.
• Manage strategic suppliers and provide training/support to J&J Foundation Board Members and the wider J&J Enterprise regarding charitable giving.
