The Senior Director, Scientific Affairs is responsible for working with physicians, laboratory directors and personnel, and scientific and academic researchers to address scientific and medical questions related to Cepheid infectious disease products and test results. This role provides clinical/scientific expertise to Research and Development, Marketing, and commercial teams and product development. Additionally, they develop clinical studies and scientific strategies that build data supporting use of Cepheid assays for pre- and post-launch market penetration. This position is part of the Medical & Scientific Affairs department and will be located on site at our global headquarters in Sunnyvale, California.
