About The Position

Leads, manages, and directs the multi-specialty employed provider group of Fisher-Titus Health and other physician practices to achieve operational and financial goals and objectives of the healthcare system. Responsible for business development, continuous improvement, quality of care, patient experience, and employee engagement. Analyzes data and recommends service line adjustments and new service lines to meet system strategic objectives. Integrates physician practices with other entities of Fisher-Titus Health, including Fisher-Titus Medical Center, Home Health, North Central EMS, skilled nursing, long term care, and others. Coordinates with clinical quality and operational teams to implement programs that include annual Medicare wellness visits, chronic care management, advance care planning, post-acute care coordination, and behavioral health integration. Participates in Accountable Care Organization activities and government and commercial payer quality meetings. Writes, revises, and implements policies, protocols, and standard work instructions. Takes a leading role in regional, state, and national activities that impact health care delivery, services, quality, and safety.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure processes, protocols, and policies allow the clinical teams to provide safe, high quality, and effective healthcare.
  • Develops and maintains relationships with the Systems Operations leadership team, physicians, and Advanced Practice Providers (APPs) to collaborate, optimize and enhance existing service lines and develop new service line opportunities.
  • Communicate monthly performance results to directors, managers, physicians, and APPs to inform and evaluate performance to stated goals. Develop and implement plans to meet or exceed quality, financial, and operational objectives.
  • Develop, recommend, and implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency, patient satisfaction, and employee engagement to achieve operational and financial goals and objectives.
  • Achieve patient, employee, and provider satisfaction goals by proactively addressing concerns through meaningful measures and interventions; develop and coach leaders for a shared ownership of patient satisfaction in each care setting/clinic.
  • Optimizes use of the electronic medical record to meet quality, safety, and experience goals and objectives.
  • Develop budgets for the assigned business units and meet or exceed expected financial performance; investigate and resolve variances and implement operational improvements to achieve productivity measures.
  • Develop and implement policies and structures to ensure continuous quality service, patient access, customer service excellence, and positive margins.
  • Represent the programs, services, and achievements of the practices to the community, regulatory agencies, media, and government.
  • Establish and maintain effective relations with all medical staff and provide proactive support for physician development and active involvement in decision-making.
