About The Position

OCI is looking for a Sr. Director of Product Management to lead product strategy and delivery for the OCI Developer Platform AI portfolio. In this role, you’ll manage a team of product leaders responsible for the full product lifecycle—inbound discovery and customer feedback, product strategy and roadmap, delivery with engineering, and outbound communications—of developer tools focused on AI-native software development. You’ll build products developers love, make it easier for developers to build highly scalable and secure products for their customers, and measure the success and impact of your work with through key outcome metrics.

Requirements

  • 10+ years in software development
  • 7+ years in product or program management roles
  • 3+ years in a senior leadership role (e.g., leader of leaders)

Nice To Haves

  • Experience leading teams and portfolios for cloud, developer platforms, or AI products.
  • Proven track record shipping developer tools and platforms (APIs, SDKs, CLIs, IDE integrations, CI/CD, observability, agentic workflows, etc.).
  • Strong technical fluency in modern software development and cloud architecture; comfortable collaborating deeply with engineering leaders.
  • Ability to balance big-picture strategy with details that make developer experiences great.
  • Excellent communication and influence skills across product, engineering, design, marketing, sales, and executive stakeholders.
  • Experience operating in enterprise environments where security and compliance are non-negotiable.

Responsibilities

  • Own portfolio strategy: Define vision, north-star outcomes, and multi-year roadmap for AI-native developer experiences.
  • Lead product execution: Partner with engineering to translate strategy into scalable, high-quality products delivered on predictable cadences.
  • Champion the customer experience: Build tight feedback loops with customers, internal teams, and the developer community; convert insights into prioritized product investments.
  • Develop world-class PM talent : Hire, coach, and grow a team that can operate across discovery, delivery, and go-to-market.
  • Operate with rigor: Establish metrics, OKRs, and operating rhythms; ensure alignment across stakeholders and executive leadership.
  • Establish and maintain trust : Ensure products meet enterprise expectations for security, privacy, compliance, reliability, and governance.

  • Paid time off: Flexible Vacation is provided to all eligible employees assigned to a salaried (non-overtime eligible) position. Accrued Vacation is provided to all other employees eligible for vacation benefits. For employees working at least 35 hours per week, the vacation accrual rate is 13 days annually for the first three years of employment and 18 days annually for subsequent years of employment. Vacation accrual is prorated for employees working between 20 and 34 hours per week. Employees working fewer than 20 hours per week are not eligible for vacation.
