About The Position

Reporting to the VP, Digital (DCX) CX Product Management, the Senior Director Product Management, International Digital CX will play a key role in leading the governance, socialization, roadmap and execution for the standardized MVP product (direct, indirect) in international markets, with the ability to translate business goals into high-impact product initiatives. Informed by deep understanding of customer needs, competitive dynamics in the market, and technology constraints and opportunities, they will own the vision, governance and evolution of the international Minimal Viable Product for direct and indirect country launches, partnering with DCX product management, Customer Facing Software, ADO and UX, along with commercial leaders. As such, they will play a key role in bringing Omnipod 5 to new international customers in a scalable way and help drive Insulet's international growth.

Requirements

  • 10+ years experience in a Product Development leadership position and 5+ years as a senior-level leader within product development; matrix leadership experience preferred.
  • Bachelor's degree.
  • 5+ years of digital product experience not limited to website, mobile, omnichannel, etc.
  • Experience developing and commercializing connected products/line extensions.
  • Experience leading product development.
  • Experience building world class product teams.
  • Diabetes experience or knowledge a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Cultivate deep understanding of customer needs, regulatory context and business needs in new countries, working closely with the international commercial team and country general managers.
  • Own the governance and strategy for MVP product (direct, indirect) based on Insulet's international growth strategy.
  • Serve as an evangelist for the MVP concept, including roadshows and regular communication with international teams.
  • Develop 24-month roadmap for direct and indirect MVP product based on international growth plan and ART roadmaps, partnering closely with DCX PMs, Omnipod 5, Commercial, Agile Delivery Office, Customer Facing Software and other teams.
  • Develop process for defining product development and work collaboratively to create them.
  • Partner with Agile Delivery Office, Commercial Teams, Customer Facing Software and other key partners to set agenda for MVP Governance Steerco meetings.
  • Define, socialize and govern exception process for MVP capability set.
  • Work across Agile Release Teams and product leaders to determine scope and capability needs.
  • Develop and articulate a clear vision and lead execution of integrated technology roadmap to deliver the technology required to support Insulet's go-to-market and end-to-end customer experience, globally.
  • Prioritize across customer, business, technical needs.
  • Work closely with product owners to deliver Digital customer experience execution across squads.
  • Define integrated release targets & scope, value proposition & delivery to drive growth, and improve business metrics including retention, complaints, NPS, cost to sustain, and time to market.
  • Collaborate with Product Marketing Managers, regional commercial leaders, and customer service leaders to shape country launch strategy.
  • Manage and develop best in class product owners who are assigned to various DCX products.
  • Coordinate on architecture and scalability requirements and guide investment timing.
  • Create bottom-up planning for annual & strategic plans.
