Cisco Hyperfabric Group is seeking a Sr. Director, Product Management to lead the definition, strategy, and future direction of the portfolio. This data center network product is designed to capture the market transition as companies modernize their data centers and deploy AI. You will own the product strategy and P&L for a cloud-controlled network solution, and its associated full-stack dedicated AI infrastructure. You will drive the entire product lifecycle - from roadmap and engineering alignment to delivery, go-to-market, and customer adoption and success. Leading a highly skilled and diverse product team, you will mentor and coach to strengthen the technical expertise across product management, technical marketing, and engineering communities. You are also expected to influence industry standards and serve as a technical advisor to company leadership. We seek candidates with: Experience working with or for web scale companies in product management, engineering, test, or validation roles. Strong background in network system design and understanding trade-offs in defining new products. Ability to collaborate closely with customers, sales, engineering, and marketing teams to develop modern products that enable business transformation. Consistent record of growing and influencing others, working with senior leadership. Ability to lead and perform under pressure in front of customers and internal R&D teams. Participation in industry events to drive product messaging and strategy. Partnership with marketing and sales teams to amplify product messaging and drive market success. Business leadership for an exciting emerging product. Ownership of P&L targeting $1B bookings in 5-6 years. Growth of early-stage products into dominant network-centric solutions for AI and modern data centers. Collaboration and motivation across all facets of go-to-market teams and partners. Establishment of a strong product brand anchored by evangelical customers and partners. Efficient and effective operations with engineering, support, field, adjacent products, and partners.

  • Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, computer science, or equivalent industry experience, preferably in networking hardware.
  • 10+ years of experience in product management, engineering, or solutions architecture, preferably in networking.
  • Demonstrable experience in Enterprise and Data Center Networking, working in Service Provide and Hyperscalers is a plus.
  • Deep understanding of networking customer requirements and usage models.
  • Prior leadership of multi-functional teams or projects in product management or engineering.
  • Ability to collaborate and lead in a fast-paced matrix organization.
  • Experience defining, launching, and growing innovative products.
  • Proven product line growth from early stage to $100M+.
  • Experience in both startup and large company environments, ideally as CPO/VP at startups and VP in large companies.
  • Strong understanding of networking and data center technologies; CCNP/CCNA or equivalent is a plus.
  • Proficiency in AI, workload orchestration, and network security.

  • Employees may be eligible to receive grants of Cisco restricted stock units, which vest following continued employment with Cisco for defined periods of time.
  • 10 paid holidays per full calendar year, plus 1 floating holiday for non-exempt employees
  • 1 paid day off for employee's birthday, paid year-end holiday shutdown, and 4 paid days off for personal wellness determined by Cisco
  • Non-exempt employees receive 16 days of paid vacation time per full calendar year, accrued at rate of 4.92 hours per pay period for full-time employees
  • Exempt employees participate in Cisco's flexible vacation time off program, which has no defined limit on how much vacation time eligible employees may use (subject to availability and some business limitations)
  • 80 hours of sick time off provided on hire date and each January 1st thereafter, and up to 80 hours of unused sick time carried forward from one calendar year to the next
  • Additional paid time away may be requested to deal with critical or emergency issues for family members
  • Optional 10 paid days per full calendar year to volunteer
  • For non-sales roles, employees are also eligible to earn annual bonuses subject to Cisco's policies.
