The Senior Director is responsible for the cultivation, solicitation, and stewardship of a portfolio of prospective donors with a giving capacity of $1M to $10M or higher. Reporting to the Vice President, Principal Gifts, and collaborating closely with the Senior Vice President and Chief Philanthropy Officer, the Senior Director will inspire and mobilize the aspirations of prospects and donors while exemplifying sophisticated stewardship essential to maintaining and expanding donor relationships. The role involves partnering with a new Faculty Engagement team and Institute leaders to articulate Institute objectives to gift audiences to reach ambitious revenue targets established based on Institute priorities. The ideal candidate is a seasoned fundraising professional with deep expertise in cultivating and stewarding relationships with high-net-worth individuals, trustees, and organizational leaders. They will demonstrate a strong ability to connect donor passions with institutional priorities and possess exceptional communication skills to engage diverse stakeholders. The onboarding process includes comprehensive training, shadowing colleagues, and hands-on learning experiences throughout the first year.
