The Senior Director, Philanthropy and Partnerships is a front-line member of Y-USA’s fundraising team, responsible for securing the philanthropic resources necessary to reach and sustain YUSA’s $100 million annual fundraising goal in service to organizational priorities. Reporting to the Vice President of Financial Development, this individual will work in collaboration with the full financial development team to execute YUSA’s fundraising strategy, and they will be responsible for identification, qualification, solicitation, and ongoing stewardship of an assigned donor and partner portfolio spanning individual and institutional donors. They will work closely and collaboratively with members of the program, operations, and finance teams to ensure that prospective donor conversations and secured financial support are aligned to organizational priorities, building a sustainable foundation for current and future projects. The role will additionally partner with external stakeholders nationally across YMCA affiliates, Y-USA senior and executive leadership, and as needed with members of the National Board of Directors to build and advance donor relationships in service to maximizing philanthropy for the 10,000 communities the Y serves across the country.
