The position is responsible for supporting, establishing dedicated relationships, and implementing GPO and Elevate services for Elevate Pharmacy client sites. Specifically, activities include reviewing and optimizing all pharmacy associated expenditure by identifying contract, operational, or clinical opportunities, and development of implementation strategies for both GPO and Elevate agreements. This position is responsible for building strategic alliances with key stakeholders as it relates to a successful pharmacy expense management program and overall pharmacy oversight. This role will demonstrate a strong understanding of the pharmacist role and maintains current competencies and education to remain up to date with contemporary pharmacy practice.
