Gilead is a patient centric, science focused company. This position reports to the Executive Director, Patient-Focused Implementation Science (PFIS). PFIS is a visionary team within Global Medical Strategy and Operations in Medical Affairs comprised of dedicated and passionate experts with complementary and multidisciplinary backgrounds in health services research, epidemiology, clinical research and implementation and behavioral sciences. We employ evidence-based approaches to address the challenges patients face in navigating their care to close the research-to-practice gap. This involves a systematic, patient-focused approach applying mixed methods, multilevel interventions, and collaborative solutions to address practical challenges in clinical care that impact the adoption of new innovations.
