About The Position

Archimedes - Transforming the Specialty Drug Benefit - Archimedes is the industry leader in specialty drug management solutions. Founded with the goal of transforming the PBM industry to provide the necessary ingredients for the sustainability of the prescription drug benefit - alignment, value and transparency - Archimedes achieves superior results for clients by eliminating tightly held PBM conflicts of interest including drug spread, rebate retention and pharmacy ownership and delivering the most rigorous clinical management at the lowest net cost. We are a rapidly growing leader in the specialty drug benefit management space. We are looking for a Senior Director of Operations to oversee work on-site in our Brentwood, TN office. This position is responsible for delivering excellent service to our members, clients, internal partners and vendors.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree, or equivalent, and a minimum of three (5) years of experience in operations, preferably healthcare. Two (3) of which in a defined leadership role
  • Experience with pharmacy claims analysis and benefit set up is required
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills, adaptable for all levels of management
  • Proficient at identifying root causes of business and/or workflow problems and determining innovative solutions and opportunities
  • Ability to organize, prioritize, and manage multiple initiatives with effective and accurate results
  • Ability to translate business needs and processes into clear and concise procedural documentation
  • A working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications is required.

Nice To Haves

  • 3 years in a similar role in a PBM environment desired
  • In-depth drug and PBM Operations knowledge and terminology is desired
  • Demonstrated skills in forming and fostering high-performing, cross-functional teams
  • SQL skills are a plus

Responsibilities

  • Lead and mentor practice managers to promote teamwork and high-quality end to end operation service.
  • Cultivate a patient-centric environment, focusing on smooth operations and efficient patient flow.
  • Responsible for the department's budget.
  • Ensure benefit compliance with federal and state laws.
  • Conduct routine reviews and audits of team members.
  • Lead meetings to drive operational efficiencies for new or existing processes.
  • Manage capacity and pipeline planning for team.
  • End to End Understanding of all Operational facets of the organization
  • Lead multiple Operational teams both indirect and direct
  • Provide training and mentorship to direct and indirect reports
  • Meets performance targets for speed, efficiency, and quality.
  • Participate in, adhere to and support compliance and diversity, equity, and inclusion program objectives.
  • Other duties as assigned.
